“Be faithful to your own taste because nothing you really like is ever out of style.”
We believe that jewelry is an expression of the wearer. We keep hundreds of pieces of jewelry on hand from designers all over the globe, but sometimes finding just the right expression begins with a client’s idea. A simple thought along the lines of “I really like amethyst…”, and an entire creative process is begun; one in which the client is involved in almost every facet. After 45 years in the jewelry business, Mr. Griner has a remarkable (and almost uncanny) ability to discover the true essence of a gemstone and match it perfectly with a client in it’s most compatible form. Many times this means custom designing a piece of jewelry around a client. Perhaps a stone needs to be reset, perhaps a setting is too large for delicate fingers, or a client has vintage pieces that need to be re-worked to better suit the present owner. However, there have been many occasions where a client has walked through the doors with a design in mind, and the design team is able to take that idea and bring it to life.
We’ve designed many, many custom wedding sets, for the simple fact that many people do look on the engagement ring as an investment. They want to have and wear something that they will enjoy for many years to come, and eventually pass down to the next generation. We’ve also redesigned older pieces of jewelry that have been inherited from relatives, or wedding sets from deceased parents that have been worked into elegant dinner rings. Broaches and pendants have become stunning necklaces for modern women with no real use for large broaches. Sometimes it’s as simple as creating additional pieces to make a set of jewelry to match an existing piece.
The possibilities really are endless when it comes to custom jewelry. You can visit our showroom at 30 1st Ave. SE Moultrie, Georgia 31768 to see some of our custom pieces and speak with our design team about your own ideas. We’d love to hear from you!
